With over 35 years’ experience in the industry Shaun has worked within the residential, commercial, public and private sectors providing all aspects of building surveying and project management services. Areas of expertise include pre-acquisition advice, due diligence and bespoke analysis work including assessment of a buildings compliance with statute, including Building Regulations. Shaun has had many years of managing complex major refurbishment and renovation contracts and in the last 5 years has acted as lead consultant on multiple major façade remediation and re-cladding contracts.
Other areas of expertise include acting as retained surveyor and the delivery of building surveying services to large estates and residential developments. Shaun is heavily involved in the running and development of the façade remediation services, working closely with the façade investigations and technical team and takes the lead on our Historic Compliance Review services and the development of new services to meet new statute and regulatory requirements. Shaun also provides bespoke advice and project management services in situations where projects or contracts have become distressed.

Nicola has worked at a global multi-disciplinary property consultancy, and at several small and medium-sized property consultancies in central London, across the residential commercial, retail, industrial and investment property sectors. Nicola’s experience includes responsibility for the procurement and delivery of major works projects on high end residential and commercial properties, office refurbishments and the creation, management and delivery of capital expenditure and asset maintenance strategies.
Nicola has a reputation for being thorough and organised and with a keen eye for detail. She is expert in licences to alter matters and her extensive experience has seen her act on many complex and challenging dilapidations cases, neighbourly matters disputes and technical due diligence instructions, which also include feasibility studies, inclusive environment consultancy and development monitoring. Recently, Nicola has been dealing with the procurement and delivery of cladding remediation projects for residential properties, as a result of Clients receiving Government funding for this work.

Being originally from Liverpool and studying at Liverpool John Moores University, Chris also has 1 year of undergraduate experience as he carried out a year out placement during his studies at a small nationwide consultancy in the Liverpool office in the city centre.
Chris has varied experience across the core services of the Building Surveying role such as Contract Administration and Project Management. Since graduating, whilst at his previous firm Chris was part of a small team in London working on a consultancy framework agreement for one of the leading logistics companies in the UK, where he was responsible for managing any planned and unplanned maintenance project instructions on over 3500 properties in the Clients portfolio. This gave Chris the experience of travelling across the country as far as Cornwall, Bristol, many different sites in Wales and the Isle of Wight, managing high value M&E and building fabric projects.
Chris is used to working towards extremely time critical timescales on limited budgets and is well versed in managing multiple stakeholders and their expectations who have differing interests on a project or property. As well as his project background, Chris has experience in various professional services, including Dilapidations and Planning Applications.

With Tamer’s façade engineering background and project management skills, we benefit from his scientific and precise approach to site investigation, invasive and non-invasive surveying, planning, designing, specification & tender preparation. He has an excellent eye for detail and this is demonstrated most keenly when delivering our on-site quality control and compliance inspections during works execution and construction phases. In addition, and as statute changes, Tamer forms an integral part of the in-house façade team focused on service development, particularly in the context of compliance, systems performance and quality of works evidencing.
