2017 END OF YEAR ROUND UP
Published: 20/12/2017
As we prepare to say goodbye to 2017 here is a quick round up on what has happened during the Autumn and early Winter since our last update at the end of the Summer.
Hot 100 – Shaun Harris was again profiled in the News on the Blocks Feature the Hot 100. The Hot 100 list identifies the most influential people in the residential leasehold property sector and includes leasehold campaigners, Parliamentarians, trade and professional bodies, managing agents, building owners, investors, developers, valuers, lawyers and service providers such as surveyors. In early November Harris Associates were the Platinum Sponsor at the Property Week All Stars Awards 2017. A fabulous evening held at the Grosvenor House hotel, Park Lane, celebrating excellence across the multiple segments of the real estate management sector. Thoroughly enjoyable, some real high quality entries and winners and a very good evening of catching up and networking. Looking forward to next year already. Property Week Management All Stars
Finishing off the events calendar for 2017 the News on The Block Property Management Awards evening was a super success for Harris Associates, winning the Building Surveyors of The Year category for the second time. “Well done to the whole team. It really is a team effort with everyone contributing at every level. Customer focus and service delivery run through the veins of everyone at Harris Associates and this award is a nod to that commitment.”
On the new business front the last quarter has been nothing short of outstanding. A full range of instruction success across all aspects of our service range. London in particular is just flying at the moment. We are particularly proud to have been appointed as the retained surveyor for the well-known Cranmer Court estate based in Kensington. “A high quality and well run set up with 245 flats in 7 blocks with 10 commercial units fronting Sloane Avenue. I will be leading a small team of surveyors alongside the property management team at Douglas & Gordon Block Management. Lots to get our teeth stuck into and great to be working on the Client Side for a change.”
Other instructions that we have won most recently include the following:
Romney House, Nevilles Court, Avenue Court, 131-132 Park Lane
And finally we are very pleased to welcome James Croyden as Team Leader. James has just shy of 20 years’ experience across multiple sectors providing the fullest range of building surveying services. “His calm and professional approach together with his knowledge and customer focus will set a very good example to his peers and our clients have already provided positive feedback even though he has only been here for a short time – keep up the good works James!”
That’s all folks for 2017.
Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy 2018 to one and all.
