Having reached our 10 year milestone last year and finishing the 2017 calendar year off with our win at the PMA’s we have kicked off the first quarter of 2018 with new team members, record breaking new business, a new logo, re-branding and a new website.

Our rebranding was important for us.  As we move on from reaching the 10 year milestone it seemed the right time to redefine the company brand and to up the ante a little!

“I genuinely believe that the UK is at the beginning of what could be an extraordinarily exciting period of growth and opportunity and our new branding reflects the excitement and confidence we have in that future and in the future of Harris Associates.”    Shaun Harris

Our new logo retains the overall colour and shading of our previous logo with a more vibrant red and the soft “H” ties in with our name.  The website is an extension of the ethos of the firm which is geared towards relationship investment and performance.  The overall livery is bolder and represents the dynamic nature of how we like to do business and our message is one of confidence, professionalism, positivity and fluidity.

The website is in a new format compared with the old one and is much easier to navigate and includes a new Prop Tech section and a Historic Expertise section.  We are particularly proud of the Portfolio section of the website which illustrates some of the superb buildings and projects that we are involved with.

We have also revamped our Graduate Training Programme.  The proven basics are all still there but the mentoring and guidance has been strengthened and we have introduced a structured in-house presentations programme.  Each APC candidate is required to present to the wider group on a monthly basis on a whole range of subjects and we have introduced minimum CPD standards that exceed the RICS requirements.  “It is important that we support and nurture the talent that we have and provide the framework in which everyone can excel.  The presentations programme is an effective way of combining CPD, research and presentation practice whilst also getting the surveyors used to dealing with questions and answers”  Chris Mace

And finally, thanks to the News on The Block Team for organising such a super event at this years’ Leasehold conference.  We used the event to test-launch our new brand and all round it was a fabulous day meeting lots of existing (and a couple of potential) clients and colleagues.  The sweeties and handouts when down very well as did James’ sales pitch.  Well done everyone!
