CHRISTMAS MESSAGE

As 2020 draws to a close we can reflect on an extraordinary year in which the world has seen the devastating effects of COVID-19, and in particular how it has affected those who are least able to provide resistance both physically, mentally and more widely in terms of economics and job security. A year ago in December 2019 there was some relief on my part over having a majority government in place with the main focus being on Getting Brexit Done. COVID-19 had at that time already started its worldwide infection but little did we know.
A year on and we are indeed close to getting Brexit done but the relief now in 2020 is a different one to last year, the relief this year is that there are vaccines available and the hope of a return to normality is getting closer.
At Harris Associates, we have been very fortunate in 2020 and although we did not escape ourselves infection free, we have been able to increase our professional staff numbers by 30% and we are doubling our London office size from January 2021. We have continued throughout the entirety of 2020 to provide all of our services to an ever-increasing client base, we have introduced new services and we have shown leadership and expertise in many areas but none more so than the façade remediation and cladding sectors.
There will be more positive news to follow in January but in the meantime, I would like to thank our clients, contractor and professional colleagues and of course all the staff at Harris Associates for their efforts and determination this year.
