Harris Associates show their commitment to sustainability with EV Charging units installation at a Prestigious London Development

Harris Associates is pleased to deliver eight Electric Vehicle charging units at the prestigious Eagle Wharf apartment building, which sits on the banks of the River Thames.
These innovative advanced Easee chargers were retrofitted to an existing parking system and show Harris Associates' commitment to assisting clients to improve their carbon footprint in a rapidly changing world. Working closely with Flowe, a leading supplier of the Easee intelligent electric vehicle charging solution and specialist building contractor A S Ramsay, Flowe installed the advanced Easee charger units onto the existing mechanical parking systems, on-time and on budget, to provide a high-quality, high performance charging solution for the apartments’ residents, adding value to the clients' asset, improving and future-proofing the development.
The Easee charger was specified by property management company Fry and Co, based on the system’s proven reliability and efficient hardware. Providing up to 22 kilowatts per charger, the system is 70% smaller and lighter than comparable systems and is connected in series, rather than conventional methods that require each unit to be wired to the mains supply. This process means that installation is much quicker, more cost-effective and sustainable even with customised chargers to maintain the length of the existing parking platforms.
The installation also included upgraded wifi connectivity along with Flowe’s customer-focused management software, which delivers a payment app for users that allows them to be charged on a ‘pay-as-you-go’ basis for the energy consumed.
The building owner or property manager also receives clear management information to effectively manage the chargers.
