Team Building Table Tennis at Harris Associates

Harris Associates ping-ponged the night away with some friendly rivalry mixed with Olympic-level seriousness at Bounce, Farringdon. After a business presentation from MD Shaun Harris who provided an update on the last financial year, new business, new services and strategic direction, the team headed out for the night.

With the recent growth of the team which includes Tony, as Associate Quantity Surveyor and Raymond, as Clerk of Works, it was a fantastic opportunity for them to learn more about the business and the strategic direction and socialise with the team, away from the office environment.

After lots of hype in the office which was at a level of pre-boxing match trash talk, after a few matches, it was apparent that newbie Tony (who seriously underplayed his skills) was a secret ping-pong pro! Tony and Head of Façade Consultancy Tamer were well matched and showed some serious ping pong prowess, to the extent that one shot bounced off a teammate’s head and ended up as a garnish in one of their Expresso Martinis, mid-sip!

Managing Director Shaun Harris was also in fine form and his competitiveness was more visible than usual when paired with a ping pong novice in a doubles match, he became an octopus and hit every shot to ensure that he won!
The evening was the perfect mix of socialising, activity and great food and drink and the team will surely have some heavy heads (and wrists) today!
