Pre-Tender Estimating
For a pre-tender estimate to be accurate it is imperative that the detail and quantities are reliable and well-defined. Depending upon the scale and complexity of a project, a pre-tender estimate (PTE) might be one of the first cost plan documents prepared. If at project inception the scope and design are well defined and quantified then a pre-tender estimate can be prepared alongside the tender documentation. For more complex projects a PTE will be the culmination of the previous cost plan developments.
A PTE will be used to cross-reference against the contractor tender submissions, providing a benchmark on which the contractor submissions can be assessed. We have extensive experience in estimating and tendering projects of all sizes, complexities and values and have a proven track record of providing our clients with professional, reliable and accurate cost advice.
