Tamer Duman BEng (Hons)
Head of Façade Consultancy
Tamer joined Harris Associates in 2020 and heads up our façade consultancy services. Tamer has extensive experience in cladding and façade investigation work, façade remediation and new-build cladding projects. He is highly experienced in all aspects of building envelope systems of commercial and high-rise residential buildings both from a bespoke contracting and professional consultant standpoint, having previously worked for well renowned and established façade consultancy firms in the USA and London.
Graduating from Florida State University in 2014 with BEng (Hons) degree in Civil Engineering, Tamer is currently an Affiliate member of the Society of Façade Engineering (SFE) and under our sponsorship, is preparing to become a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and Member of The Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (MCIBSE).
With Tamer’s façade engineering background and project management skills, we benefit from his scientific and precise approach to site investigation, invasive and non-invasive surveying, planning, designing, specification & tender preparation. He has an excellent eye for detail and this is demonstrated most keenly when delivering our on-site quality control and compliance inspections during works execution and construction phases.
In addition, and as statute changes, Tamer forms an integral part of the in-house façade team focused on service development, particularly in the context of compliance, systems performance and quality of works evidencing.
