Client
Needs

The client approached Harris Associates as they required an intrusive inspection of the external wall build-up for the purpose of an ESW1 form. During the inspection, we discovered that fire breaks were not installed correctly, and the insulation core of the sandwich panels was combustible. The client subsequently instructed the remedial works required following the intrusive inspection. We worked with the client very closely as due to the layout of the blocks the works were to be disruptive to the residents, we managed this with clear lines of communication.

What
We Did

Harris confirmed our brief and services with the client, we then carried out an extensive survey of the property, this included intrusive investigations where necessary. Following our site inspections, we drafted the specification of works and tendered the works to suitable contractors. Once the contractor was appointed, we carried out site visits to monitor progress and quality of the works, providing the client with detailed reports on all aspects of the works.
